32 weeks

So today was my 32 week visit- we had a lot to talk about! First off this oak pollen is just killing Clint and I, Kamryn seems to be handling it well, only a small runny nose. Anyway turns out I was worse off than I thought my lungs are horrible so Dr. Cerny gave me a ton of stuff since she said that if it turned into pneumonia that can be very dangerous for a pregnant woman. That's ok better safe than sorry- don't want to end up in the hospital early!
I gained 5 pounds in the last 4 weeks, more than I would have liked but it's nice to know Madalyn is accounting for half a pound a week now so it's not too bad I guess! Now I go back every 2 weeks so each weight measurement will not seem so drastic- haha. I guess in total I've only gained 25lbs so not too shabby that makes me feel better!
I am measuring 32cm which is perfect- Madalyn is growing nicely! However I found out today she flipped back around and is now head up. Dr. Cerny wasn't concerned she still has time to flip back over. I'm going to be diligent though in my "spinning babies" positions to try to help her along any way I can!
Kamryn loves going to the doctors visit's with me. She always gets to squeeze the gel on my tummy and find Madalyn's heart beat. Today she got to help measure me too! Maybe she'll grow up to be a doctor or a nurse!
I've been having TONS of Braxton Hicks contractions. I try not to get concerned but they lasted so long the other night I had to start timing them! And it seems each bat of them get more intense. Of course I had to ask the doc about them because I don't want to be one of those moms that freaks out at everything and calls the doc. She said as long as they are not 5 minutes apart for a long time and eating and changing positions doesn't help I should be ok. She checked me though to be on the safe side and I'm not dialated at all- WHEW! It just helped to ease the mind I guess.
Anyway I'll start seeing her every 2 weeks now, and at my next entry I'll post the 34 week photo! Of course I'm having Lauren do some Maternity shots this weekend so I'll have 33 week pictures as well...
I'm meeting with my doula on Thursday to set up my birth plan! I'm actually excited because I feel like so much needs to be done. I thought April would be a good month to finalize everything but turns out I should have started sooner. My preggo brain is in full swing and I keep forgetting things. This weekend I went through TONS of clothes and sorted them by size- that about killed my back now I have atleast 4 loads of baby laundry to do. The changing table/dresser is all cleaned up and I put some fresh liner in there, more backbreaking work. I should have done all this last month! Anyway I have got to get things done quickly because I'm only going to get more uncomfortable from here on out!
Kamryn is getting SO excited I told her today that we are going to start coming to the doctor's more often and waiting for Madalyn to be ready to come out... she let out a squeal of glee and jumped up and down! So sweet I can't wait for the girls to meet.
