Kamryn and Madalyn Update!

I think it's time for a Madalyn update since I am now 30 weeks along. Wow this pregnancy has gone by SO fast. I am not ready at all. I have Kamryn's room complete but the nursery is not even started. It would be fairly easy just to set up everything again, but everything has to be cleaned thouroughly since it's all been in the attic for 3 years. The crib is a drop side which I hear pretty much all those have been recalled, so there is work to do there too. I want to be ready in 5 weeks.

I am feeling pretty good, the swelling in my feet and hands have started towards the end of the day, and more and more I can not breathe since there is NO room in my torso for baby! I'm already ready for her to drop so I can have some more lung and stomach room, but of course she's not ready yet! I gained 4 lbs last month which is just right... I was proud of that I tried really hard! My glucose came back normal so I'm happy about that! I go back in 2 weeks to see my OB and then will be 2 week visits after that.

Madalyn is already 3 pounds and growing fast! Here is a look at 30 weeks:

It is getting more and more difficult to sleep. She is very active at night stretching out and pushing my stomach to the max. I bet she'll keep us up all night after she's born!

Kamryn is getting very excited about her birthday too! We decided to have it a couple weeks early this year to avoid possible coflicts in date since my due date is only 12 days after her birthday. We are going to have her party on May 1st which is 4 weeks before my due date so hopefully we'll be safe there! She wants a Cars party (of course) with a "big jumpy thing!" I've slowly started to plan for that. I can't believe she'll be FOUR!

Yesterday she hit a big milestone! She wrote her FIRST WORD! And guess what it was?

I was so proud of course I had her pose with it, and she was just as proud as I was! She knows how to write her "A's" too so now we'll have to work on "D" so she can spell DAD too. She is so ready to be in school I hope she can get in to Pre K at the elementary down the road if not we'll have to find her something else for fall.

I also have some fun pictures, today Daddy made her a "treehouse" and we had to get photos of it! She was super excited, I don't know where he got the word treehouse to describe it though, more like a fort.
