Day two got off to an early start, but we loved being up before everyone else. Clint got up at 7 to make reservations for our steak dinner later that week, and after he got back to our room we headed to the breakfast buffet. We each had fresh made to order omlets- our favorite! The spread was amazing.
After breakfast we couldn't wait to get to the beach and see those waves up close. After getting our suits on we headed down to enjoy the scenery. The sand was perfect- not too coarse but with big enough grains you could just brush yourself off! It was like getting a pedicure everyday- our feet were so soft after the trip! We started out by testing our new tripod and getting some pictures.

And of course writing in the sand...

Although my next try was disrupted by this huge wave crashing into me and almost knocking me off my feet!

We decided to take a walk down the beach a while to check out the calmer part of the bay, but didn't realize how far it was and had to turn around before we got there. The sand was so thick and on such a steep incline that it was quite a work out just to stay on your feet!

This one stole Clint's new sunglasses... he was mad!

After we got back to the beach the restaurant staff was making a seafood snack by the pool. Clint decided to grab a plate- why not? While it smelled delicious, I refuse to eat anything with legs...

We ended up trying the "El Torote" outdoor restaurant that overlooked the beach for lunch. The food was great there too!

After lunch we headed to the swim up bar, and then napped for a while on the lounge chairs by the pool. We didn't know what to do with ourselves without a 3 year old to chase after!

We headed back to El Torote at about 5 to get a snack- the sun sure makes you hungry! Then we showered for dinner, and relaxed on the balcony with some cold Dos XX before dinner. After that we pretty much crashed! What a lazy day...
