So a couple months ago Kamryn saw an episode of Handy Manny where his nephew "Pepe" was trying to sell aguas fresas in Lemon, Strawberry, and Melon flavors in his neighborhood. He wasn't selling any so of course Handy Manny built him a "aguas frescas stand" to let people know he was selling yummy drinks and saved the day! Ever since that episode Kamryn has been pretending to make aguas frescas for everyone and sell them.
One day Daddy told her they would build a real stand and she could sell them in front of the house! After a couple days of helping him cut and nail wood together and paint the stand, it was time to sell! Of course we decided to put "Lemonade" on the sign and had to explain to her that not everyone knows what "Aguas Frescas" means. I told her I would pick out ONE flavor to start out with and do you know what she said? "Then after I make money I can use it to go to HEB and buy more flavors to sell!" What a little entrepreneur!
The day came and she was EXTATIC.
She did a great job waving to all the cars and was SO excited when people stopped. If they kept driving she would say, "Oh RATS." and then call out "Maybe next time!!!" We had lots of people stop by for some, and of course Ma and Poppi came by since they live so close. She even had a few to give her a tip for a job well done! After supplies and a little money to get things rolling in her "cash register" she made a $10 profit! Woo Hoo good for the college fund!
