We knew Kamryn had way outgrown her tricycle she got on her 3rd birthday. But we were planning on getting her a bike on her 5th coming up in May. Today I realized just how much she had outgrown her trike and how unsafe it was when 3 times it tried to tip as she was in a turn.
SO we decided to go check out some bikes for fun this evening. I kept thinking about it and thought how sad it would be for her to go 2 months without anything to ride! We are out everyday playing and riding with the neighbor kids, and I don't want her riding that trike any more with it tipping. Plus once her birthday does come around it is going to be getting hot around here!
Anyway, we quickly found out that the 12 inch bikes are too small, and the 16 inch ones almost too big. She still has a little ways to grow into this one, but with the training wheels she can ride fine. And lets face it she's not going to be speeding around curves for a while!
She is SO PROUD of her new bike!
And just a little batting practice from last weekend...
