Saavedra's Shenanigans: 9 Months!

Wow. 9 months already? Where has the time gone? Mady had her 9 month check up this morning. She got another A+ and first well baby of the day. Gotta love Dr. Tressler! She is now 19lbs 6oz (50%), 27in long (25%) and head circumference is 46.75cm (above the 95%!). She is starting to level out her weight but her head jumped up on the curve. He is not concerned (Daddy has a large noggin) we'll just check it again at her 12 month to make sure it is starting to level off. Large head just means large brain! I feel so blessed to have such healthy little girls.
Madalyn pulled herself up to stand on Wednesday, is standing very well, and trying to let go to stand on her own. It is so funny she is developing just like Kamryn did. Kamryn never showed any interest in crawling until she was 11 months. She stood on her own at 10 months before she was mobile. Mady seems to be going down the same path but she does try to scoot and squirm around on her tummy. I'll sit her in the middle of the floor with nothing to play with but to watch Kamryn and I play hoping she'll try to join in... Nope. She will sit forever clapping and having a blast perfectly content just watching. When she's on her tummy she can get on hands and knees but slides backwards and gets mad!

She is eating finger foods now, and it's so fun to watch her concentrate so hard on grabbing that bite! There are certain melodies that she loves to dance to, and just the other night started giving kisses! She was having a rough time sleeping and we were cuddling in the rocker at 2 am. I was exhausted but melted when she started "kissing" my cheeks. It was like, "Mommy, don't be upset. I love you!" Nothing better than that!
She's also turning into a little stinker sometimes too. When she's mad, she lets you know by kicking and screaming! Hm we may have a future drama queen on our hands...

We got Kamryn signed up for T-Ball this spring! I am so excited. She will be playing on a team with Gunner (our neighbor and her "boyfriend"). And Clint has volunteered to coach! She starts in about a month with 1 practice a week and 1 game a week. How cute is that going to be? With all this south TX freezing nonsense we can not WAIT for spring to come!
