This past Saturday we had Kamryn's 4th Birthday Celebration! We decided a while ago to have it a couple weeks early since my due date is only 12 days after her birthday. I'm SO glad we did this since 2 days later I was put on bedrest- that will be a post for itself though. Before everything got started Clint and I picked a present for her to go ahead and open early so she could have something new and fun to do while we were getting things ready. She LOVES Handy Manny and for weeks now has been wanting to use the untensil basket in the dishwasher as a toolbox to hold her "tools." Those she would make up. Anyway, we saw this at the Disney store about a month ago and I new then it would be perfect! All the tools actually come out so she can play with them. They are made of soft rubber so we don't have to worry about her damaging anything, and the flashlight (her favorite) actually lights up!
She was extatic! Oh and her bangs are taking FOREVER to grow out long!
It wasn't long until her bounce house arrived, we were glad she had lots of time to use it before and after the party! I really wanted to use it too but I figured with my huge belly and lack of balance that wasn't a good idea. I was bummed.

Everyone started arriving at 2, and the house filled up fast! We had grandmas and grandpas, great grandmas and great grandpa, Aunts and Uncles, Cousins, and friends join in the fun!
For one of the party favors I bought a pack of "beach balls" to write the kids names on and I had a vision of them just bouncing around inside the house while the kiddos jumped. I figured they had to be atleast 6" balls, but no they turned out to be more like 3 or 4 inches. It was good for a laugh anyway. Here Kamryn and Leyna are lining them up, and Isabella has found her own!
Then after Claire arrived it was time to paint their own cars! I wanted these started early so they'd have time to dry. This turned out to be a huge hit! Kamryn, Chloe and Isabella went back to finish the left over cars toward the end of the party.

We decided this year to do snacks instead of a meal... way less work. Kamryn had a special birthday girl plate of "chips and cream!" After the fruit of course.
It was starting to get hot so we headed inside for present time and then some yummy cake!
Kamryn got so many wonderful things, her favorite things are Cars, but she is now getting into the whole doll scene knowing she'll have a baby sister to help take care of soon! So she got a lot of cool baby doll stuff as well.
I think she enjoyed opening all the gifts that were just for her!
The cake! Up until a few days before the party Clint had planned on making it. I think I made him realize that with all the yard work and house work to be done there wouldn't be much time to make and decorate a very elaborate cake. So we chose to order one- more expensive but much easier! I found some race car candles too that came 4 to a pack... perfect!
Ready to sing! She sang the loudest- think she was excited? I'll get the video uploaded soon if I can.

After most of the guests had left Kamryn had to drag just about everyone of the grown ups in to jump with her! This picture is my favorite... Poppi bouncing her around and she has that priceless look on her face!
We all had a great time! Kamryn will probably remember this party, so I'm glad to make some fun memories for her to have for years! Thank you to everyone who could come enjoy this special day with us!
