A couple weeks ago she officially branched out from the "Da Da's" and "Ma Ma's" and said her first REAL word... "Bye Bye!" while waving. It was so cute the first time she did it we were eating breakfast and had just said goodbye to Daddy. When she saw him leaving through the window she waved and said, "ba ba!" It was adorable.
She loves eating with us now that she can mash diced and small foods. She can finally join in our Sunday morning pancakes! I've also discovered that she LOVES roast and veggies which is giving me hope that she won't be as picky of an eater as Kamryn is! We are going through weaning right now and things are progressing as expected... She has learned to like formula which is good, but I'm not too comfortable. Hopefully this will pass soon!Madalyn has also recently cut 2 more teeth for a total of 6! These last ones were really getting in the way of nap time! Also periodically through the night we would have to go in her room to help her fall back asleep. That mixed with a couple weeks of severe separation anxiety had us all on edge! Once that passed though we had about 4 good days and nights then the Oak pollen started kicking into high gear and took it's toll on her sinuses. So back at square one last night.
She got to swing for the first time about a month ago and LOVED IT! We are planning to get her a nice swing for her birthday and I can't wait. She is definitely an outdoors girl like her big sister.
We have had a lot of fun this month with the nice weather!
First time at the pool! She was babbling up a storm and crawling all over the beach entry (which is SO nice at this age...)
Kamryn and Gunner had a blast squirting each other! She loves having him over to play.
Took a family trip to the zoo but didn't realize it closed at 6 so instead of paying a full day's worth for a couple hours decided to ride the Breck train instead! The girls LOVED it!
Kamryn has been enjoying T Ball so much! We have had 3 games so far and she is getting better each time!
GO DODGERS!!!!!
