Halloween

Yes it's December and I'm just now getting around to catching up on posts. Lets just say my first trimester I was way too tired to care!
Halloween day was a busy one! It started out at Jackson's 6th (yes SIX) birthday party! The kids got to paint pumpkins, play pin the face on the mummy, and eat mummy dogs, and lots of goulish foods.
It just so happened that my car was in the shop that weekend and guess when they called and said it was ready? Right after the party. So we made a quick stop at Rudy's because we are never on that side of town, and then drove across town to pick up my car. After a quick stop at home it was time to pack up for the Halloween party at my in-laws. OH the goodies! It was hard keeping them away from Kamryn and I kept explaining to her that she'd be getting plenty of candy on her Trick or Treat later.
After Matt, Lauren and Jackson arrived (this has become an annual thing to trick or treat together in Summerglen) it was time to get the kids ready! Kamryn wanted to be a SCARY witch (like the wicked witch of the west) and was excited to get her face painted green! I got the idea to tease her hair and since it is so fine I used a bunch of hair spray to get it to stay messy.
Clint made a hay ride (hay and a blanket in the trailer hooked on the riding mower) to tow the kids from house to house since the houses are farther apart and it was COLD that night. Jackson and Kamryn loved it! We only did about 10-15 houses and we were all cold. So they didn't fill their baskets this year, but it's not like they get to eat all that candy anyway! Then it's just sitting around for us parents to try and avoid.

And here is the 4th annual Trick or Treat photo!
